Premium olive oil from Greece
In idyllic Messinia, west of Kalamata, lies one of the largest olive plantations in Greece. The main variety? So-called Koroneiki olives.
The ideal conditions that the olive trees find there - a combination of plenty of sun, nutritious soil and sufficient water - give the oil a particularly fruity and intense aroma and the best quality.
The olive harvest: craftsmanship meets expert knowledge
From the beginning of November to the end of January, the olives are harvested and processed within 24 hours. In a small olive mill, not far from the well-known and popular summer holiday resort of Finikounda, Finikounda Gold olive oil is then produced using the most gentle processing methods.
The oil is absolutely natural and unadulterated. It is extracted from the olive paste at a maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius without the addition of water. Over the course of about four to six weeks, it acquires its incomparably fruity and intense flavour.
The taste of olive oil
Unlike beef, which intensifies its flavour over time, the opposite is true of olive oil. The later the olives are harvested, the milder the taste.
With an acidity of less than 0.3%, our oil is one of the highest quality products on the market.
Storing olive oil properly: how to expand the shelf-live of olive oil?
If stored appropriately (dark and at cellar temperature), it has a shelf life of 18 to 24 months from production. It is especially suitable for cold dishes and gives the food an unmistakable flavour with its intense taste. But it is also perfect for warm dishes and gives off a fine aroma. Our oil can also be heated up to 180° C.
Our spicy miracle: chilli oil for fiery dishes

The oil is carefully produced by hand in Upper Austria and enriched with home-grown chilli flakes. The result is a 100% regional product line of the highest quality.
