1. Will my order be delivered cooled or frozen?

At Fitmeat, the highest quality meat is our top priority. That's why our meat is only delivered fresh and perfectly cooled. We do not use frozen products at all. Thanks to the first-class combination of reusable cooling packs and insulation material, your order stays wonderfully cooled and fresh!

*Our burger patties are partly shock-frozen for safety reasons, as minced meat only has a short shelf life and is only produced once a week. But you can also either prepare them immediately or simply freeze them at home.

2. How can I specify a desired delivery date?

During the order process, you can specify a desired delivery date in addition to the desired delivery address. You can find all the information about this on our order info page.

3. What happens if I am not at home on the day of delivery or the delivery takes a day longer?

If you are not at home on the specified delivery day, you can also request a drop-off permit or select an alternative address at short notice. We will keep you informed about the status of your delivery by e-mail.

If the delivery is delayed, you will of course also be informed by us in good time.

4. What can I do with the cool packs and do you take them back?

Our cooling packs are included in every package and keep your order perfectly cooled. What's great about them? You can reuse the batteries, for example to cool down your shopping for the way home in summer, to keep drinks and co. chilled at a picnic or to refresh yourself.

If you don't need the batteries or don't have any use for them, you can of course send them back to us.

5. How will my order / meat be packed?

Your order is carefully packed and perfectly cooled after a personal check by owner and meat sommelier Sebastian Mayrhofer. The meat is vacuum-packed under the strictest hygiene regulations, wrapped in special insulation (WrapPak® Protector) and packed together with our reusable cool packs. 6. Is the packaging recyclable?

Yes, our packaging is recyclable and plastic-free.

7. Can I freeze the meat?

Your order arrives freshly chilled at your home and has never been frozen beforehand. If you do not want to prepare the meat immediately, you can simply freeze it. You can find tips on the correct storage as well as the best way to freeze and thaw meat in our online magazine article. 

8. My voucher code does not work.

Have you received an error message with your voucher code? Then send us an email at mail@fitmeat.at or contact us by phone at +43 660 226 22 22. We will gladly take care of your problem and find a solution.

9. My order could not be placed.

Are you having problems with your order or do you have any questions? Please contact us via e-mail at mail@fitmeat.at, WhatsApp or by phone at +43 660 226 22 22. We will be happy to help you with your order.

10. I do not see any details about my delivery

Your order confirmation will be sent automatically by e-mail to the e-mail address you provided. We ask for your understanding that this may take some time. If this has not arrived by 17:00 on the day of your order at the latest, please contact us by e-mail.

You will be informed about the delivery status and updates on your delivery regularly by e-mail. You can find more information about the order process on our website under "Order info".

11. Can I pick up my order in Salzburg?

Would you like to pick up your parcel directly from us? No problem, we are looking forward to meeting you! You are welcome to choose „Click and Collect at Fitmeat “, as your shipping method, and we will be happy to arrange a desired pick-up date with you.

12. Why is a delivery on Monday not possible?

Our goods are only delivered fresh and have never been frozen. Since our shipping partners are closed on weekends, the meat is freshly prepared on Monday and delivered by Tuesday.

13. How long does your packaging keep the meat cool?

Our cooling packs really know how to do it. They keep your order perfectly chilled for up to 24 hours. During the summer months, enough Cool Packs are enclosed in the packaging to keep the meat cool for up to 48 hours, and of course we also take into account the corresponding outside temperature.

14. How far in advance do I have to place my order?

What can we say, the early bird catches the steak. No, all joking aside. You can place your order at any time and it will be delivered fresh the next working day, or on your preferred date. However, a little advance planning is never a bad thing.
