Meat knowledge

Probably the finest burger in the world
Wagyu beef burger patties

You want to set new standards in burger enjoyment? Then our burger patties made from Wagyu beef are the perfect choice for you. A burger has definitely never tasted so fantastic

For our hearty patties, we only use muscle meat from purebred Black Wagyu cattle from the Salzkammergut region. The meat is finely minced so that it remains nice and fluffy and is completely free of additives

In order not to distort the fabulous taste, our patties are unseasoned and can be refined with suitable spices, depending on taste

Grilling burger patties from Wagyu beef

Due to the perfect balance of meat and fat content, our patties are not only extremely tasty, they also retain their wonderful shape. Whether prepared on the grill or in the pan - they are a highlight both visually and in terms of taste.

Wagyu beef from Fitmeat

The term "Wagyu" is basically nothing other than "Japanese beef" - which is exactly how it is translated. This breed of cattle became particularly well known through the hype surrounding Kobe (original name would be Kōbe) meat. This exquisite breed also belongs to the Wagyu cattle.

The only difference? Only any that come from the Kōbe region of Japan may be called Kobe cattle. A bit like classic champagne, then.

The Beef Marbling Score
What exactly is BMS?

When it comes to the crème de la crème in terms of meat enjoyment, everything revolves around the well-known BMS. But what exactly does that mean? The Beef Marbling Standard, or BMS for short, is measured on the basis of 6 factors. These include marbling, meat colour, meat firmness and grain, fat colour and quality.

There are 12 classification levels, with 12 being the highest possible marbling level. This means that the meat has the highest amount of intramuscular fat

We recommend one burger with one patty per person. Strong eaters can also manage two burgers.

Cows image

The Wagyu cattle come from a small farm in the beautiful Salzkammergut. Carina and Roland are now the third generation to breed 100 % purebred Black Wagyu cattle there

They attach great importance to producing products of the highest quality. Animal welfare, environmental protection and the strengthening of the region are particularly important to them. They do not feed maize at all in order to protect the bees and the flora

In summer, the cattle graze on extensive pastures; in winter, they stay in the free-range barn with its own terrace.

The natural needs of the animals are very important to them. They have large running areas in their stalls, there are demarcated areas for stud bulls, calving cows and calves depending on their age.

This way they guarantee that the animals can live out their natural herd behaviour and live stress-free. Complete documentation and careful selection of the stud bulls are the basis for great Wagyu meat, in addition to the focus on genetics.

Balanced and natural feed as well as particularly animal-friendly husbandry guarantee the best quality.
