What makes the Chilli-Käsekrainer so legendary?

Firstly, our sausages are refined with the best organic Emmental cheese made from hay milk. Secondly, the combination of selected spices and fiery chilli gives them that extra flavour kick! Together with a delicate hint of beech smoke, this speciality is truly unique.

What are Chilli-Käsekrainer made from?

Chili-Käsekrainer sind geräucherte Brühwürste mit 74 % Schweine- und Rindfleisch-Anteil und etwa 20 % Bio-Käse aus Heumilch. Von unserem Metzgermeister werden sie anschließend sorgsam geräuchert und gebrüht.

Chilli cheese sausages are smoked boiled sausages with 74% pork and beef and around 20% organic cheese made from hay milk. They are then carefully smoked and scalded by our master butcher.

How are Chilli-Käsekrainer cooked

he meat for the sausages comes from 100% Austrian cattle and pigs. During production, organic hay milk cheese is carefully mixed into the flavourful sausage meat, giving it a very special aroma. This makes the consistency particularly creamy when cut and intensely spicy in flavour. Beech smoke adds a rounded, smoky flavour.

Facts about Käsekrainer

Käsekrainer has even achieved international fame. First appearing in a South German cookery book from 1896, it has also been popular in Australia and New Zealand since the 1950s. Incidentally, it is called "Kransky" there.
