Strictly speaking, you don't need much more than high-quality minced meat, a really great sauce, fluffy burger buns, some good cheddar cheese and coarse sea salt to enjoy a first-class burger.. 1 part ketchup
¾ part mayo
¼ hot sauce
For the fabulous smashed burgers, you don't need much more than a really hot grill with a cast iron plate, a burger turner and, of course, mince from Fitmeat.
For the homemade burger patties, take a little less than a handful of mince and shape it into small meatballs. Make sure you don't press the mince together too much, it should be a loose ball. Now place the balls on a baking tray. The loose structure helps the patties to be deep-fried in their own juices and remain incredibly tender.
A little tip: If you really want to create the ultimate and unbeatable burger patties, use our dry-aged mince from the heifer! It's twice the taste sensation.
